David Klein Gallery is pleased to present Verano, a group exhibition featuring paintings by Sylvain Malfroy-Camine, Benjamin Pritchard, Scott Reeder, Leif Ritchey, Emanuel Torres and sculpture by Del Harrow and Marie Herwald Hermann. An opening reception will take place on Friday, July 31, 5 – 7 PM.

From the large-scale work of Benjamin Pritchard, Scott Reeder and Leif Ritchey to the intimate size paintings by Emanuel Torres and Malfroy-Camine, these artists share a non-objective approach to the exploration of color, form and expression. The common elements of experience, improvisation, light, humor, building and excavation are present in the work.  Del Harrow and Marie Herwald Hermann share similar concerns, taking the exploration into 3 dimensions.

The painting has a life of its own. I try to let it come through.
